Amy practises in the area of corporate/ commercial law, including commercial real estate, leasing, and financing, as well as in technology law.Background
Amy joined the firm as a first year associate in 2010 after articling at the London Crown Attorney’s Office. While attending law school, Amy was a litigator for Community Legal Aid and Chair of the Committee for the Annual Windsor Law 5K Run. Upon graduating from the University of Windsor, Amy was awarded the Heather Lynne Swift Memorial Bursary for demonstrating a commitment to high academic achievement and athletic involvement.
Prior to attending law school Amy graduated on the Dean’s List from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and also studied at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic for one semester. While attending Columbia University, Amy worked for both ABC News and Lou Dobbs Tonight and focused primarily on developing business related news stories.
Amy’s extra-curricular interests are mainly athletic in nature. Amy played NCAA Division I lacrosse at Columbia University and played for the Canadian national team from 1997 to 2001. She currently coaches the Ontario junior team and the University of Western Ontario women’s lacrosse team. Amy is an avid runner and has completed the Boston marathon on two occasions.
