Eric practises in the areas of securities, corporate, mergers and acquisitions and banking law, offering a unique blend of legal and corporate finance experience combined with hands on business management experience in the software industry for start-up and early stage ventures.
Eric’s primary focus is on the Canadian technology industry, addressing the legal, corporate finance and fund raising needs of start-up, early stage and growth stage issuers as well as their lenders and investors in the software, clean tech and biotech fields.
Prior to rejoining the firm in 2011, Eric was President of Angoss Software, a Canadian publicly listed software and cloud based predictive analytics solutions company. He held this role from 1999 through 2010, successfully executing a turn-around and growth plan establishing this company as a recognized market leader in the advanced analytics market.
Prior to joining Angoss, Eric worked from 1993 to 1999 as one of the founders of our firm to develop the firm’s practice in the technology and structured finance areas. Prior to starting the firm Eric practised with Stikeman, Elliott in Toronto and Vancouver.
