Profile
James is a partner who practises in the areas of securities law and general corporate/commercial law. His practice focuses on advising issuers, investment dealers and venture capital firms with respect to securities law matters generally, with an emphasis on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and securities compliance matters. James is experienced in dealing with provincial securities commissions, the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange. In 2004, James was seconded to the Corporate Finance Branch of the TSX Venture Exchange.James joined the firm in 2002 after summering at a boutique intellectual property law firm and articling at a major national law firm.
