Lisa practises primarily in the areas of banking, secured transactions, corporate/commercial, and mergers and acquisitions law.
Lisa assists both lenders and borrowers in connection with syndicated and non-syndicated, secured and non-secured, domestic and cross-border and revolving and term credit facilities. Lisa also assists both lenders and borrowers with respect to asset-based credit facilities and subordinate/convertible debt transactions.
Lisa also advises clients on a variety of corporate/commercial agreements, acts for both vendors and purchasers with respect to mergers and acquisitions, advises clients on compliance with securities legislation and other regulatory requirements and assists with their regulatory filings and dealings with provincial securities commissions and the TSX Venture Exchange.
Lisa participates in student recruitment at the firm as a member of the Student Committee.
Background
Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce LLP in 2005, Lisa articled and was an associate at a major Ottawa-based law firm. In 2008, Lisa was seconded to the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission for six months. Prior to joining the firm’s financial services group in 2009, Lisa’s practice was focused in the areas of securities law and mergers and acquisitions. She has acted on a variety of corporate finance and securities related transactions representing both issuers and investment dealers, including public offerings and private placements.
