Peter practices in the areas of corporate/commercial and securities law, with an emphasis on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and structured products. Peter has acted for clients on a variety of corporate finance matters including public offerings and private placements as well as public securitizations. He has also acted on behalf of issuers and underwriters with respect to initial public offerings, secondary offerings and bought deal financings.Background
Peter joined the firm in 2008. Before joining the firm, Peter was corporate counsel for Nortel Networks, a large publicly traded technology company. Prior to that, Peter practiced corporate and securities law at Osler, Hoskin &Harcourt LLP in Toronto.
In 2002, Peter was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission in their Market Regulation Group.
