Profile
Troy is a partner focusing on all aspects of securities law, with a particular emphasis in the areas on corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions, as well as general corporate/commercial law. Troy regularly acts for a number of public and private companies, both early stage and mature, engaged in a broad spectrum of industries, as well as several investment dealers and venture capital firms. Troy represents both issuers and underwriters in a wide range of financing transactions, including domestic and cross-border public and private financings for both corporate issuers and income trusts.
In addition, Troy has counselled clients in various merger and acquisition transactions, both public and private, and in connection with take-over bids, proxy fights, secured lending transactions and various corporate governance issues.
Background
In 1994, Troy was seconded to the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securites Commission. Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce LLP in 1994, Troy articled and was an associate with another major Toronto law firm.Education
