New World Resource Corp. (TSX-V:NW) completed a private placement of 11,481,482 units at a price of $0.27 per unit for gross proceeds of approximately $3,100,000. Each unit consisted of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder to subscribe for one additional common share at a price of $0.40 for a period of 12 months. Byron Securities Limited and PowerOne Capital Markets Limited acted as agents in respect of the private placement.
