Newmarket Gold Completes $25 Million Offering

Newmarket Gold Inc. (“Newmarket”) completed an underwritten private placement of subscription receipts for aggregate gross proceeds of $24.8 million through a syndicate of underwriters co-led by GMP Securities L.P. and BMO Capital Markets and including Haywood Securities Inc. and RBC Capital Markets. Each subscription receipt will ultimately entitle the holder thereof to receive one common share of the resulting issuer to be formed pursuant to the proposed business combination of Crocodile Gold Corp. and Newmarket.
