Brendan is an associate practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial, and real estate law. Brendan first joined the firm as a summer student in 2019 and articled with the firm in 2020-2021.
Brendan earned his Juris Doctor (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (With Distinction) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
While in law school, Brendan was a Teaching Assistant for Principles of Legal Research, and Introduction to Public and Constitutional Law. In his final two years of law school, he was also actively involved with the Faculty of Law’s Career and Professional Development Center as a Facilitator and Resume and Cover Letter Specialist.
During law school, Brendan was named a Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellow, earned the Godyne Sibay Scholarship in Real Estate Law, and was awarded the Insolvency Institute of Canada Prize in Insolvency Studies for earning the highest standing in Bankruptcy and Insolvency.
Throughout law school, Brendan pursued his interest in photography by operating a digital media company he co-founded in university. Outside of law, Brendan’s interests include supporting Toronto’s professional sports teams, reading, and watching movies.
