Jonathan practises primarily in the areas of real estate and corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on commercial transactions and property development. Jonathan’s practice encompasses all aspects of real estate matters, including the acquisition, disposition, management, financing and development of all property classes, as well as joint ventures, limited partnerships and commercial leasing. He is experienced with complex transactions involving mining, high-tech, timber, cannabis, hospitality and other unique operating assets.
Jonathan also practises in the Debt Products Group and acts on a number of real estate related corporate and securities transactions.
Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce, Jonathan practiced commercial real estate law at a full-service firm in Toronto where he acted for REITs, developers, national retailers, municipalities and financial institutions in real estate, infrastructure and financing transactions. Before entering the practice of law, Jonathan gained experience in finance, securities and banking at a global financial services company as well as at the Department of Finance in Ottawa.
Jonathan has completed the Canadian Securities Course and is also a licensed Ontario mining prospector.
